PAYING IT FORWARD

For this part of the project, we got into groups of 10 to form a team. The understanding of sustainability (environment and community engagement) and our role and responsibility as a designer should be reflected througout the execution while exploring the issue, writing an effective proposal to resolve the issue , execution of the project on site, engaging the site and community and creating the awareness and impact via the solution/product

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABLE DESIGN

PROJECT 2:

PEOPLE AND PLANET

"The People & Planet International Photo Competition 2013" is adopted as part of the class assessment to create environmental awareness and appreciation towards nature and culture and people. We were to capture photographic visuals, caption and present "nature" in the format artistic of a photographic journal. This project is also adopted as an assessment to provide opportunity for students to experience taking part in an international competition. This competition would benefit us by instilling a globally competitive skill whilst strengthening our creative skills. This is also a part of creative teaching and learning approach that is adapted under the degree programme.

For our first part of the project, I was required to take 4 photos that represent the society issues in the country, which happens to be my selection of theme. I went around the areas of Kuala Lumpur to capture the moments
